A taste of history

For more than 130 years, stories have been written at Demínka.

Since 1886, we have welcomed famous writers, artists, and generations of Prague locals. Demínka was there at the birth of Sparta, served as a literary meeting place, and as a refuge in the difficult times of the last century.

Today we serve honest Czech cuisine, pour tank Pilsner, and make sure everyone feels at home with us. We have preserved the unique Art Nouveau interior and an atmosphere with soul, and added a modern approach to service, gastronomy, and our guests.

We are a restaurant with respect for the past and a taste for the present, and we will be glad if you become part of it.
